Balaklava Audio was founded in 1993 by Mark Pinder as a mobile audio service in south western Ontario. In 1998 the Retail Store was opened to expand and serve the community better. As a result, Mark contracted to supply sound systems for Churches, community centres and various commercial applications.

In 2002 Balaklava expanded yet again with the expansion of the retail showroom and addition of shop space to maintain our superior level of quality and service that our patrons have come to expect.

With continued commitment to serving the customer even greater, Mark expanded yet again with the addition of Custom electronic integration and design. As of June 2010, the retail portion of the show room was closed and is now open on an "appointment only" basis.
